Fondation Castanea

The core activity of Castanea is the promotion and support of chestnut culture in Chablais, particularly through the maintenance and management of chestnut groves, the selection and production of chestnut plants, the conduct of experiments and research on various chestnut species and treatments, as well as the provision of facilities and infrastructure for the members of the cooperative, such as the Maison de la Châtaigne in Bex.
