to initiate, encourage, subsidize or finance research and work dedicated to modern and contemporary Swiss history and to disseminate them through all suitable media, and in particular, to promote, finance and encourage the activities and work of the Institute of Contemporary Swiss History (IHSC) in Fribourg (up to a maximum of 50% of the Foundation's annual allocations) (cf. deed of foundation for full purpose).
