Fondation Charmettes

The foundation's purpose is to provide assistance to needy individuals residing in the Canton of Fribourg; to award scholarships to needy young people residing in the Canton of Fribourg; and to provide apartments at preferential rent to indigent individuals in the Canton of Fribourg. The foundation does not pursue any profit-making or commercial purpose. The founders expressly reserve the right to request a modification of the foundation's purpose in accordance with Article 86a of the Swiss Civil Code. The foundation does not pursue any profit-making or commercial purpose. If a public-law corporation is legally required to provide services similar to those of the foundation, the foundation will only intervene on a subsidiary basis.
