The foundation's activities are for the public good and are non-profit. The foundation aims, pursuing a public interest objective, to build, renovate, rent, and manage housing at affordable prices for the entire population, particularly for residents of the Commune, disabled persons, the elderly, young people in training, seasonal workers, as well as low-income families. It seeks to achieve this goal through: a) The acquisition of building land and/or surface rights constituting a distinct and permanent right; b) The construction and acquisition of residential and rental buildings; c) The renovation and conversion of buildings; d) The conclusion of mortgage loan contracts; e) The use of incentive instruments in accordance with the federal housing act or corresponding cantonal and municipal laws; f) The rental price of the housing, set on the basis of the rent covering the costs, i.e., cost-price rents; g) The promotion of social activities in the rental buildings; h) The possible rental of commercial and/or administrative spaces. i) The support of other public housing projects.
