The Foundation provides supplementary occupational pension provision for Employers who have concluded an affiliation agreement and their employees, enabling beneficiaries or their heirs to protect themselves against the economic consequences of loss of income due to retirement, disability and death; an affiliation agreement is signed by each affiliated Employer. It will also specify the conditions for affiliation and withdrawal from the Foundation; the Foundation Board is competent to decide on the means to achieve the purpose defined in paragraph 1. For this purpose, it may use all or part of the Foundation's assets. It may also conclude insurance contracts in favor of all beneficiaries or part of them, or take over existing contracts in its own name; in this case, the Foundation will be both the policyholder and the beneficiary; under no circumstances may the Foundation assume obligations that are legally incumbent on the Employer outside of its pension obligations in favor of the personnel, nor make payments that have the character of remuneration for work or a similar aspect.
