The Foundation's purpose, within the meaning of Article 335 of the Swiss Civil Code, is to pay for the education, maintenance and support costs of the Founder's family members (the Beneficiaries). It may also be used for similar purposes. Additionally, it may provide assistance and support to Beneficiaries who may need it. The Foundation's benefits will be made in the form of single or repeated payments of donations to the holders of parental authority, to the extent that the beneficiaries are minors, and otherwise to the beneficiaries themselves, as well as in the form of loans and any other form of asset allocation, to be used for the payment of the costs mentioned in the preceding paragraph. Furthermore, the Foundation may carry out any operation whose proceeds would be paid to the beneficiaries to be used for the purpose defined above. In particular, it may make investments and placements, borrow, issue bonds, enter into and bind itself by commitments, acquire shares, bonds, participation certificates and other securities, listed or unlisted, of existing or newly created companies. Finally, the Foundation will promote the entrepreneurial spirit of the Founder's family members through long-term participations.
