Preservation and promotion of the material and immaterial heritage related to absinthe and the characteristic aromatic and medicinal plants of its region of origin. The foundation achieves its purpose notably by promoting the creation and development of the Maison de l'absinthe, an interpretation center dedicated to the theme of absinthe and aromatic and medicinal plants, and by organizing its operation directly or indirectly; by maintaining a network of contacts with producers, artists, artisans, technicians, collectors, and scientists in the field; by developing or financially supporting research and development programs in the fields of art, environmental education, taste education, promotion of regional natural, cultural, and gastronomic heritage, research and development in culinary art, training, as well as the culture of the absinthe plant and aromatic and medicinal plants; by gathering and developing a collection of objects, documents, and material and immaterial testimonies centered around absinthe and aromatic and medicinal plants, notably in collaboration with the Musée régional du Val-de-Travers; by conserving the elements of this collection, documenting them, and promoting them through exhibitions and any other means of dissemination; by promoting the creation and development of a National Documentation Center for Absinthe and its Traditions.
