To establish occupational benefits, within the framework of the LPP and its implementing provisions, for the benefit of the employees of skyguide SA (hereinafter referred to as the founder) and the companies that are closely linked to it economically or financially (hereinafter referred to collectively as "affiliated companies"), as well as for the benefit of their families and survivors, against the economic consequences of old age, death, and disability. The affiliation of a related company is carried out on the basis of a written affiliation agreement. The Foundation may establish benefits that go beyond the statutory minimum benefits, including support benefits in cases of hardship, such as illness, accident, disability, or unemployment. The Board of the Foundation issues a regulation relating to the benefits, organization, management, financing, and supervision of the Foundation. It governs the relationships of the Foundation with the employer, the insured parties, and the beneficiaries. The regulation may be amended by the Board of the Foundation while preserving the acquired rights of the beneficiaries. The regulation and any amendments thereto must be communicated to the supervisory authority. To achieve its purpose, the Foundation may conclude insurance contracts or participate in existing contracts; it must appear itself as the insured party and beneficiary. The Foundation may also pay benefits for the financing of contributions and insurance premiums to other tax-exempt occupational benefit institutions that have been established for the benefit of its beneficiaries.
