Fondation du Château de Blonay

The purpose of the foundation is: a) to ensure the conservation and maintenance of Blonay Castle, a national historic monument, and to reserve, after the death of Mr. André de Blonay, brother of the founder, a room dedicated to the conservation of documents and objects concerning the history of the castle, the family and the former municipality of Blonay, as well as the canton of Vaud in general; b) to become the owner of Blonay Castle and, if possible, the adjacent estate by collecting, as a beneficiary, legatee or heir, the immovable property of the co-owners or by repurchasing them. Once the foundation is the sole owner of Blonay Castle, it may, if its Council deems it appropriate, make premises available for the organization of events of national interest or cultural character.
