The foundation aims to create and maintain spaces for creative residences, exchange and work in Crémines (rue de l'Industrie 65 and 66). These spaces are open and accessible to all and are dedicated to artistic activities defined as follows: any human activity whose purpose is experimentation, discovery, study, or creation of links, regardless of their nature, will be qualified as artistic in the broadest sense of the term. Thus, for example, scientific research (which links knowledge and data) and social work (interpersonal relationships) are considered artistic, just like music (links between sounds), poetry (links between words), and visual arts (links between forms, textures, and colors), etc. In short, any activity that combines research, experimentation, and creativity will be considered artistic. The foundation's profits and capital are exclusively dedicated to the above-mentioned purpose. The foundation does not pursue any lucrative activities. The foundation works closely with an association that manages the activities taking place there. This association must meet several conditions, namely: a) be organized as a non-profit association according to articles 60 and following of the Swiss Civil Code, b) be recognized as being of public utility, c) practice free contribution rather than fixed prices or tariffs, d) demonetize exchanges as much as possible, and function according to the economy of gift, e) minimize private use of the project's spaces and resources for the benefit of maximizing collective use, f) promote self-management and horizontal decision-making, g) develop ecological and social awareness and practices, h) cultivate inclusive and non-discriminatory practices, i) develop and maintain a network with projects having a similar philosophy and approach. In its dealings with the association, the foundation supports and protects the aspects listed above. In particular, it ensures that it does not hinder the self-management and gift economy that are essential values that the association must cultivate. It also keeps in mind the essentially experimental nature of the project as a whole and the fact that any experimental undertaking necessarily involves a risk of success.
