The Alexis Forel Museum Foundation aims to preserve, conserve, and enhance its historic listed building, as well as its art and historically significant collections. The Foundation ensures the preservation of the tangible and intangible heritage of Alexis and Emmeline Forel by promoting their artistic legacy. The Foundation continues the cultural animation spirit located at 54 Grand-Rue in Morges. It achieves this objective by organizing projects, respectful of sustainability, diversity, and accessibility, aimed at promoting and discovering its heritage - particularly through exhibitions that highlight works of art, its collections, and cultural testimonies. Furthermore, the Foundation enriches the collections within the means available, in line with the existing fund and upon the advice of the museum's management. It oversees the collections of prints and its deposit at the Cantonal Cabinet of Prints. The Foundation entrusts a professional team with the care of managing the building, the collections, and the cultural activities. It is responsible for finding the financing to ensure the management of the museum. It also offers mediation actions in a very broad sense, such as meetings between artists and the public, workshops, visits, conferences, and other events that encourage the interest and active participation of the local public, schools, and tourists. Finally, it promotes cultural collaborations to enhance the museum and its values.
