The foundation is a public utility foundation and does not pursue any profit or commercial purpose. The foundation's purposes are: to promote and support investigative journalism and in-depth reporting; to create and finance an annual Fabrizio Calvi Prize for investigative journalism (book, web, media, documentary, etc.); to create and finance one or more annual Fabrizio Calvi scholarships to carry out journalistic investigations and in-depth reports in writing, orally or on film; to manage the archives of Fabrizio Calvi deposited with the State of Fribourg; to manage the copyrights of Fabrizio Calvi; to manage the library of Fabrizio Calvi; to create, develop and support new models of slow journalism as well as new media formats (digital, digital, multimedia, etc.) on both academic and private levels; to actively promote the association's goals to communal, cantonal and national political leaders; to support the publications of media outlets active in investigative journalism in Switzerland and abroad. The foundation may also engage in any activity directly or indirectly related to its purposes. The foundation operates throughout Switzerland and abroad. The founder expressly reserves the right to modify the foundation's purposes in accordance with Article 86a of the Swiss Civil Code.
