To promote the development of innovative treatments and treatment concepts in spinal orthopedic surgery; to promote the ongoing training of general practitioners and specialists in the field of surgical and non-surgical treatments of spinal pathologies; to promote teaching and information on a larger scale to individuals directly or indirectly affected by these treatments (paramedical professions, patients, etc.); to promote the establishment of new national and international collaborations in the evaluation and treatment of spinal pathologies; to promote excellence in the care of patients suffering from traumatic or degenerative spinal pathologies; to promote clinical or fundamental research by directly funding a research project or a job related to a research project: the selected projects will be chosen by a group of independent scientific experts.
