To acquire from SANTAX A.G. for the price of 360,000 CHF the parcel 1208 of the Môtiers cadastral register, also known as Clos Grand-Jaques, in the heart of the old town of Môtiers, in order to preserve its historical character as a green space, non-buildable and for an unlimited period, according to the wish of the founder Gilbert André Girardier; to create, on this non-buildable green space, under the name of PARC GIRARDIER, a pleasure park with the aim of benefiting: the population for public use, cultural institutions and other organizations to promote the arts through events on the site, the municipality of Val-de-Travers (with priority for associations of the former municipality of Môtiers) and the Regional Museum of History and Crafts in Môtiers for activities compatible with the location and the foundation itself; to ensure the maintenance of PARC GIRARDIER; to award periodically, if possible annually or biennially, a GILBERT ANDRE GIRARDIER YOUTH AND ENVIRONMENT FOUNDATION PRIZE (for full purpose, see statutes).
