Fondation Hamoir

The acquisition, in ownership or otherwise, in any form, free of charge or for a fee, of movable assets (paintings, tapestries, carpets, commodes, tables, desks, seats, etc.) of ancient times (prior to 1830), or corresponding style, or of oriental art, which are worthy of protection. The preservation and enhancement of the collections thus constituted by their deposit: a) in one or several residences to be, on the one hand, usually used in a family setting in accordance with their purpose by the inhabitants of these residences and, on the other hand, accessible to organized visits by mutual agreement between the foundation council and the inhabitants of these residences; b) in one or several museums; c) in any other location that the foundation council may consider as fulfilling the purpose of preservation and enhancement.
