The foundation aims to: promote the preservation of grape and wine culture with a focus on improving the natural environment; promote the exchange of scientific, technical and cultural knowledge of grape and wine; work towards establishing rules for quality signs used worldwide and ensure compliance with these rules; encourage moderate wine consumption in the spirit of "wine, health, harmony and pleasure of living"; contribute to supporting other foundations, structures and individuals pursuing the same goals (for full purpose see foundation deed).
