Within the territory of the Republic and Canton of Jura: a) to alleviate the distress and misery of children in need, either through direct assistance or by supporting existing education, training, and health programs established by charitable organizations; b) to support disadvantaged children, particularly by providing for their school education, through the awarding of scholarships in an adequate form, the granting of subsidies, the occasional sponsorship of institutions and/or orphanages, and the creation of a prize; c) to promote the status of women in educational, financial, and health matters, with a priority on promoting and supporting the independence and responsibility of the assisted individuals; d) in general, to provide assistance with education; e) in general, to provide assistance with development; f) in general, to combat material waste in all its forms.
