The Merkle Foundation for Vibro-Meter companies aims to provide financial assistance to employees of Meggitt SA, their families and children who are in financial difficulty or wish to pursue study or training projects. Financial support must be in the form of direct, non-repayable donations or interest-free loans. In addition to direct financial support, the Foundation also wants to enable them to realize a professional future project that they would not have been able to consider without this support. This includes language internships, interest-free loans to pursue training, courses or internships. If a public law corporation is legally required to provide similar benefits to those of the foundation, the latter will only intervene on a subsidiary basis. The foundation's assets and income may not be used to pay bonuses, cost-of-living allowances and other benefits, or any benefits to which Meggitt SA is legally or contractually bound. The foundation does not pursue a profit-making purpose.
