to provide assistance, as deemed appropriate by its board, to employees of the Geneva Chamber of Commerce and Industry and to employers closely related to it in cases of old age, disability, illness, accidents, unemployment, and in the event of death, to the family members of the deceased; to provide relief in cases of hardship, without any fault on the part of the individual concerned.
