All assistance, aid, and recognition activities for disturbed children and adolescents aged, in principle, twelve (12) to twenty (20) years old and demonstrating either atypical or particularly relevant and talented expressions. The beneficiaries of the foundation are those recognized as suffering from adaptation disorders falling under a psychopathology diagnosed by a recognized authority (according to the precise definition of medical nosology), and residing in Greater Geneva, but attending school in the Republic and Canton of Geneva. The foundation may also consider certain cognitive disorders, or other attention disorders with or without hyperactivity (ADHD - attention deficit hyperactivity disorder), and, if necessary, the application of individuation and/or affective immaturity processes. The foundation's activities aim to help already enrolled children or adolescents reconcile with themselves and thus tolerate human society. To this end, it promotes psycho-pedagogical-therapeutic work on themselves and their problem(s) to become aware of their own effective reality, recognize their own potential(s), as well as their own limits. According to the very terms of Mr. Patrice LAYAT's will, the very purpose of PGL EXPLORATOR is to provide adaptable space(s) and the supervision of the foundation's beneficiaries, within the framework of a specific psycho-social approach based on maieutic-heuristics.
