Fondation Pierre de l'Etoile

The Pierre de l'Étoile Foundation aims to support monastic and religious communities within the Catholic Church, as well as any associations or entities, public or private, whose purposes are related to Catholic doctrine, for the exercise and extension of their activities in the broadest possible way, as well as the maintenance and development of Christian heritage, particularly real estate, in Valais, Switzerland or abroad, and in general, to carry out all operations necessary to achieve its purpose. The founder expressly reserves the right to request a modification of the foundation's purpose in accordance with Article 86a of the Swiss Civil Code. The foundation does not pursue any lucrative or commercial purpose. If a public corporation is legally required to provide services similar to those of the foundation, the latter will only intervene on a subsidiary basis.
