To assist economically disadvantaged individuals legally domiciled in the canton of Vaud in obtaining devices or equipment not covered by health insurance or other authorities, which can improve their quality of life; to provide or make available any means not covered by health insurance or other authorities to individuals legally domiciled in the canton of Vaud, enabling them to remain in their homes and thus improve their quality of life; to support any action that enables economically disadvantaged people with disabilities to maintain their independence to the maximum extent possible.
