To promote, support, and fund scientific research in the field of colorectal diseases and colorectal surgery, with a priority given to colorectal oncology. In this context, the foundation supports, among other things: clinical, translational, and fundamental research projects; the awarding of fellowships for professional development and international mobility for physicians and researchers, such as enabling a "research fellow" fellowship for a given period; the awarding of research grants; the development of national and international academic collaborations; the promotion of the well-being and recovery of patients with colorectal diseases; the awarding of a scientific excellence prize in the colorectal field at major national and international conferences. The foundation is non-profit and pursues exclusively objectives of public interest. The foundation may, in particular, cooperate with other organizations and/or support them. If its purpose allows it, it may create and manage other legal entities and/or merge.
