Fondation Transit

The core activity of the Fondation Transit is child and youth welfare, particularly the care and support of children and young people in difficult life situations. The foundation offers two main services: 1. Foyer éducatif (education and care in a residential home): The foundation operates a residential home that accommodates children and young people in two living groups of 8 people each. The care and education of the children and young people are provided by a pedagogical team. 2. Service AEMO (Action éducative en milieu ouvert): The foundation offers support services for families and children in their own environment to reduce the need for institutional placements. This also includes conducting interventions in the children's home environment. The foundation provides its services in the two official languages of the canton of Fribourg.
