To support certain deserving singers from the Geneva University of Music - Conservatoire supérieur de musique de Genève (HEM-CSMG) (hereinafter the University) in starting their professional life, in particular: by creating an Opera studio within the University and paying some of the students and graduates of singing and other disciplines of the lyric scene of the University who are admitted to be part of it; by awarding scholarships to recent graduates of singing from the University who present a serious and interesting project for further training or entry into professional life, either within another University, an opera house, a similar institution or a university for doctoral studies; by providing financial contributions to visual or audio recordings of productions by students and recent graduates of singing from the University; by paying them subsidies to participate in singing competitions; by awarding subsidies to associations, foundations, organizations that help students and graduates of singing from the University or invest in artistic projects in which they can participate; by awarding a special singing prize to deserving competitors from the Geneva Competition from the University. Students from the University can benefit from the foundation's support from their second year of study until December 31 of the third calendar year following the completion of their Bachelor's or Master's degree at the University. The foundation will strive to assist selected candidates over several years, if justified, in order to accompany them in the completion of their studies and the beginning of their career. The foundation will particularly encourage deserving students and graduates of the University of Bulgarian origin or nationality. For the latter, it may be reasonably derogated from the temporal restrictions mentioned in these statutes. The foundation is non-profit. The founder reserves the right to modify the purpose of the Foundation under Article 86a CC. This modification may occur when at least ten (10) years have passed since the establishment of the Foundation or the last modification pronounced at the request of the founder. This right is inalienable and does not pass to the founder's heirs. The purpose of the Foundation may, at the request of the supreme body of the Foundation or the Supervisory Authority, be modified by the competent cantonal authority when the character or scope of the original purpose has varied to the point that the Foundation no longer clearly responds to the founder's intentions.
