The foundation aims to promote and develop projects in Switzerland and abroad, in accordance with Christian values, in the fields of charity, humanitarian aid, development aid, health, environment, education, science, and culture. To this end, it may intervene to: a) combat hunger; b) reduce poverty; c) promote the health and well-being of all age groups; d) promote education, training, and science; e) promote environmental protection; f) promote economic and social development; g) promote culture; h) promote justice and peace. The Foundation achieves its purpose through the means deemed appropriate by its foundation council, in particular by providing assistance to individuals or organizations working towards its purpose. It may accept requests for support from them and take initiatives to guide activities in the areas covered by its purpose. The Foundation does not pursue any profit-making purpose. The Foundation is entitled to carry out all activities necessary to achieve its purpose. It may establish other foundations or legal entities. It may acquire real estate.
