The foundation is a non-profit foundation and does not aim to make a profit. The purpose of the foundation is the preservation of wildlife and aquatic ecosystems, marine habitats, the protection of biodiversity, research and development of innovative sustainable manufacturing, recycling and upcycling programs, as well as raising awareness and sharing knowledge on all issues related to ecology and biodiversity in connection with aquatic ecosystems. In the context of its missions, the foundation may: a) act, support, finance and assist international and Swiss projects, through individuals or non-profit organizations, that serve the same purpose as the foundation; b) act, support, finance and assist related education and prevention programs; c) act, support, finance and assist projects aimed at raising awareness and sharing knowledge related to the preservation of wildlife and aquatic ecosystems, marine habitats and the protection of biodiversity; d) act, support, finance and assist any scientific study and research related to the preservation of wildlife and aquatic ecosystems, marine habitats and the protection of biodiversity; e) act, support, finance and assist research and development aimed at developing innovative sustainable manufacturing, recycling and upcycling programs in relation to the preservation of wildlife and aquatic ecosystems, marine habitats and the protection of biodiversity, including in the textile industry by reducing waste. To achieve its goal, the foundation has the right to conclude any contract, acquire, manage and transfer, free of charge or for a fee, all rights, movable and immovable property of any kind. It may entrust the execution of all or part of its activities to third parties. The foundation may act independently or in collaboration with other foundations or institutions engaged in similar activities.
