Fondazione Joro

The foundation's purpose is: to provide financial assistance to needy individuals residing in Ticino. It will pay contributions, in particular, to large families, the elderly and young people; to provide financial assistance to charitable, religious, social, educational and cultural institutions active in Ticino, for the fulfillment of their specific purposes. Included in the aforementioned institutions are, in particular, convents and parishes, for the fulfillment of purposes of a religious, cultural or charitable nature, such as renovations and restorations of buildings. The foundation is empowered to take all necessary measures to promote its purpose and is authorized to acquire, encumber and sell real estate. The foundation is of public interest and does not pursue profit or commercial purposes.
