To promote and support any initiative in the territory of the former municipality of Osco - within the boundaries prior to the merger with the municipality of Faido in 2012 - where the villages of Osco, Vigera, Freggio, Brusgnano, and Modrengo are located, as well as forest and mountain areas - aimed at maintaining or revitalizing, respectively preserving and enhancing the agglomerations, the territory, monuments, traditions, traditional gastronomy, while respecting the environment and landscape, history, and local customs, also in collaboration with the municipality, the parish, the Degagna, and other public and private entities. Within the territory described above, the Foundation promotes the purchase of land and buildings for the creation of spaces dedicated to social, recreational, educational, and cultural initiatives, or simply to remove them from neglect if worthy of preservation; within the scope and for the purpose of fulfilling its purpose, the Foundation may create and/or manage an inn, public meeting spaces; organizes or supports cultural, social, and recreational events, as well as events for the reorganization and care of the territory; supports artisanal and agricultural activities linked to the territory and/or tradition; maintains trails, urban spaces, recreational areas, and other infrastructure. The Foundation may also award prizes to deserving individuals in relation to its purpose. The Foundation does not pursue a profit motive. It may engage in commercial activities solely within the scope and for the purpose of its statutory purpose, may lease spaces within its owned or managed immovable properties to third parties, may facilitate experiences of encounter and work for socially vulnerable individuals, all solely for the purpose of ensuring the economic sustainability of the Foundation itself.
