1. The Fund's purpose is to provide professional pension benefits for the employees of the Employers, as well as their survivors, by granting benefits in the event of old age, disability, or death in accordance with the provisions of its pension regulations.
2. The Fund undertakes to comply with the provisions of the LPP and, in particular, to grant the minimum benefits required under this law and its implementing ordinances. It may extend the pension benefits beyond the minimum benefits of the LPP.
3. The Foundation Board is competent to decide on the means to achieve the purpose defined in paragraph 1. It may use all or part of the Fund's assets for this purpose. It may also conclude insurance contracts in favor of all Members or part of them, or take over contracts already concluded in its name. The Fund will then be both the insurance policyholder and the beneficiary.
4. Under no circumstances can the Fund assume obligations legally incumbent on the Employers, other than its pension obligations, nor make payments that have the character of remuneration for work or a similar aspect.
