The Fund aims to protect the personnel (hereinafter referred to as the insured) of the affiliated companies listed below, including companies located in Switzerland that are economically linked to them, against the economic consequences of old age, disability and death, by guaranteeing benefits fixed by regulatory means. The affiliated company (hereinafter referred to as the employer) is: Conforama Suisse SA. A new employer may be affiliated to the Fund, subject to the approval of the Foundation Board and a written communication to the supervisory authority. By registering in the register of occupational pension schemes with the supervisory authority, the Fund intends to participate in the application of the compulsory insurance scheme resulting from the Federal Act on Occupational Old-Age, Survivors' and Disability Insurance and the implementing ordinances. As a registered pension institution in accordance with Article 48 paragraph 2 LPP, the Fund extends, within the meaning of Article 49 LPP, the provision beyond the minimum legal benefits that will be guaranteed in all cases. It may also intervene with assistance to personnel who would be in difficulty due to illness, accident or similar cases. The Fund may not under any circumstances pay benefits having the character of remuneration for work, such as gratuities, various allowances or other salary supplements that legally fall to the company. It is explicitly stated that all employers are subject to the same insurance and investment conditions. To achieve its purpose, the Fund uses the means that its Foundation Board deems adequate, in particular the conclusion of insurance and reinsurance contracts or the takeover of such contracts in progress. The Fund is both the policyholder and the beneficiary of these contracts.
