To support members of the staff of British American Tobacco Switzerland SA, whether active or retired, who are experiencing serious financial or personal difficulties. The standards for granting aid may be set out in a suitable regulation drawn up by the Foundation Board. The Board may at any time amend this regulation within the framework of the provisions defining the purpose of the foundation. The regulation, its amendments or repeal must be communicated to the Supervisory Authority for approval. The Foundation may also contribute financially to the granting of benefits by social organizations such as Caritas or another organization approved by the Foundation Board.
