The foundation aims to provide occupational pension benefits to employees of the former Swiss Trade and Industry Association and their dependents and survivors in cases of old age, death and disability, as well as to support the pensioner and their dependents in times of need, such as illness, accident, disability and unemployment. Furthermore, as of January 1, 2002, the foundation aims to provide occupational pension benefits to employees of the former economic promotion agency wf, who have entered into an employment relationship with economiesuisse, as well as their dependents and survivors. Finally, the foundation aims to provide occupational pension benefits to employees hired by economiesuisse as of January 1, 2001, and their dependents and survivors; may also provide services to other tax-exempt pension institutions that exist for the benefit of the beneficiaries to finance contributions and insurance premiums; the personnel of companies economically and financially closely linked to the founding company can also be affiliated with the foundation.
