The foundation's purpose is to provide, in addition to the statutory benefits of the Ituma Personalvorsorgestiftung, pensions or lump-sum payments to employees of the SBV, the Ausgleichskasse Schweizerischer Baumeisterverband, the Stiftung Campus Sursee, the Campus Sursee Seminarzentrum AG, and the Campus Sursee Bildungszentrum Bau AG (employers) in the event of loss of earned income due to age or disability, as well as to their survivors after death. The foundation may also provide benefits to other individuals who work for the SBV. The foundation board designates, taking into account the position, function, or salary level, the employees who are entitled to benefits. It decides, at its discretion, within the framework of the foundation's purpose, on the amount and scope of the benefits. Furthermore, the foundation board may decide on additional provisions for the employees of the SBV, the Ausgleichskasse Schweizerischer Baumeisterverband, the Stiftung Campus Sursee, the Campus Sursee Seminarzentrum AG, and the Campus Sursee Bildungszentrum Bau AG, and their survivors, particularly support services in cases of need such as death, illness, accident, disability, or unemployment.
