The foundation specifically supports projects in the fields of culture, environment, education and science, excluding projects with a commercial background. The foundation operates throughout Switzerland, and to a lesser extent, also supports selected projects abroad, particularly if they have a connection to Switzerland. In the field of culture, it supports, among other things, music, theater, dance, film, literature, exhibition and interdisciplinary projects of all styles. The environmental support area includes projects from the areas of nature, homeland and animal protection. Larger nature conservation projects and renovations and restorations of cultural monuments are in the foreground. In the field of education and science, the foundation primarily supports infrastructure projects of educational institutions and selected training programs with its contributions. It can also support the training of young, talented people.
