The cooperative pursues the purpose of enabling its members to live a resource-conscious and self-determined life in mobile small housing forms (KWF), apartments, and houses, which are acquired and/or built by the cooperative under fair and affordable conditions. The apartments, houses, and KWF are intended for persons who live, work, or have a special connection to Davos. The cooperative strives to offer spaces for all segments of the population, especially for singles, families, people with special needs, and the elderly. The cooperative can offer spaces for commercial services in its buildings. Additionally, it aims to prevent speculation and promote the idea of societal responsibility and neighborhood solidarity. To achieve this purpose, the cooperative: manages and rents apartments, houses, KWF, and KWF parking spaces based on cost-rental; acquires building land and building rights; builds and acquires single-family and multi-family houses, KWF, and mixed-use buildings that meet modern cooperative housing needs; utilizes funding instruments according to federal, cantonal, and communal housing promotion laws; creates, provides, maintains, renovates, and rents apartments, houses, KWF, and KWF parking spaces, including suitable infrastructure; promotes cooperative activities; and provides ideological and material support to initiatives that aim to provide affordable and good housing.
