Genossenschaft Elfenpfuus

The cooperative aims, through mutual self-help, to promote the economic interests of its members by producing and using electricity locally in the Elfenau district and adjacent districts in Bern and Muri. It owns and manages a proof of origin, ElfenPfuus, which is used for electricity produced and distributed in the district. The Elfenau district is defined as the area bounded by Aare, Dählhölzli, Thunplatz, Burgernziel, Egghölzli, and the municipal boundary. The cooperative can acquire, manage, and dispose of real estate and electrical installations, as well as enter into any transactions and conclude contracts that are suitable for promoting the purpose of the cooperative or are directly or indirectly related thereto.
