The cooperative aims to provide its members with affordable housing and to build and acquire residential space or apartments, excluding any speculative intent. In particular, it pursues the goal of promoting affordable housing construction in accordance with federal housing promotion and corresponding cantonal and communal regulations. The name Galleries is derived from the cooperative's main purpose, namely to create gallery-like infrastructure coverings in an economical and ecological building style. The cooperative can enter into any business and conclude contracts that are suitable for promoting the purpose of the cooperative or are related to it. Furthermore, it can acquire or sell properties, participate in other companies with the same or similar purpose, establish branch offices, and conclude license and lease agreements within the scope of its purpose.
