The cooperative aims to promote the extraction of groundwater and the distribution of energy from groundwater in a heat network for individual heat generation for the benefit of its members. The cooperative aims to create and maintain its own groundwater extraction systems and pipelines for the distribution of the energy obtained therefrom in self-management, including all associated apparatus and installations, hereinafter referred to as "plants". Explicitly excluded from this are the pipelines and heat pumps to be installed by the property owners in their properties. The cooperative may engage in all commercial, financial and other activities that are related to the purpose of the cooperative or are suitable to promote it. Furthermore, projects to increase energy efficiency can also be promoted. The cooperative can act as a purchasing cooperative to supply equipment to its members under favorable conditions. The cooperative can offer consultations and other services in the field of creation and operation of a heat network also to third parties. The cooperative can join organizations and actions or support those with which it feels ideologically connected. The cooperative promotes the exchange of information among its members and sensitizes the population to the issue of energy through its activities. The cooperative thus makes a concrete contribution to the use of regional energy sources and to achieving the climate target "Net-Zero 2040" of the city of Winterthur.
