The cooperative supports the Luminonza project - cuminonza ella Val Lumnezia, which pursues the following goals: establishing a vibrant and harmonious living space for 100 to 200 people of all ages; promoting cohabitation through shared values and regular exchange; maintaining good relationships with neighbors and openness to outsiders; providing educational opportunities for all age groups; regional and ecological supply, with food preferably produced and processed in Val Lumnezia; natural healthcare for body, mind, and soul, accessible to all; caring and supportive care for the elderly and sick. The Luminonza cooperative supports these goals as the provider of shared infrastructure by acquiring properties and erecting buildings for: shared infrastructure (community rooms, accommodations for guests and interns, etc.); provision to members (housing, business spaces and areas, etc.). The cooperative can engage in further activities that serve its purpose. The cooperative's activities are non-profit in the sense of the housing promotion law and not profit-oriented. Its properties are permanently withdrawn from any speculative use. In the case of state-subsidized housing, the board ensures that the purchasers are informed about any possible conditions due to housing promotion and commit themselves to their observance. The cooperative can participate in companies and organizations with the same or similar objectives. It can be a member of Wohnbaugenossenschaften Schweiz and/or the Association of Non-Profit Housing Providers.
