The cooperative aims to promote the economic interests of its members through mutual self-help by: obtaining heat from regional firewood in the most advantageous way possible and distributing it to the cooperative members; achieving a favorable price for firewood to the benefit of the cooperative members; achieving a favorable price for heat to the benefit of the cooperative members; purchasing fuel and selling heat to third parties. To achieve its goals, the cooperative may acquire and sell real estate.
