Genossenschaft Werkzeug

The cooperative aims to provide interested individuals with knowledge and opportunities, as well as encourage them to pursue self-determined and meaningful (gainful) activities. Mutual support with knowledge, resources, labor, and spaces is intended to enable the creation of individual and communal living spaces and content. Young people are specifically offered space to exchange ideas about their projects and their future. Creative, ecological, and social projects are particularly promoted. To this end, the cooperative can rent residential and commercial spaces or plots of land and sublet them at a low cost to members of the cooperative, non-profit companies, and private initiatives that pursue similar goals and share the ideals of the cooperative.
