The foundation aims to provide financial support to people who have fallen into a difficult situation through no fault of their own, people with physical or mental disabilities, people in difficult life situations, and generally to socially disadvantaged people; this activity is limited to the territory of Switzerland. Furthermore, the foundation aims to preserve and renovate rural and village structures as well as sacred buildings in Switzerland. In addition, the foundation supports national or international aid organizations that are committed to the educational or vocational training of children and young people. The foundation can make grants to affected individuals or to tax-exempt institutions, namely foundations, that pursue the same or a similar purpose. The foundation can own, acquire, and sell properties. It does not pursue any commercial or self-help purposes.
