Large parts of the population of the Democratic Republic of Congo suffer from malnutrition. Despite its enormous agricultural potential and the great potential for self-sufficiency, the country relies on food imports. The association aims to promote sustainable, small-scale agricultural development in the Congo through non-profit projects. The opportunities in Congolese agriculture are to be better utilized and agricultural productivity increased. The goal is the emergence of (small) farming businesses. The transformation of Congolese agriculture is intended to promote food security and reduce poverty. The association also supports locals in the founding and realization of sustainable (small) businesses outside of agriculture. The goal of all measures is to combat poverty and create jobs by gradually building profitable small businesses and providing necessary infrastructure for the population. Entrepreneurial thinking is to be promoted. Sustainability, environmental protection, and ethical behavior are mandatory for all projects.
