The foundation aims to preserve and protect as well as promote affordable housing for families and elderly people in the canton of Zurich in particular, and to promote the housing quality of such people in general. The foundation also aims to support children and adults in need in the canton of Zurich. The foundation can carry out all activities that the foundation board considers conducive to achieving the foundation's purpose. It has the right to restructure its real estate portfolio if this serves the realization of its foundation purpose. It can cooperate with other foundations with a similar purpose, provided that its foundation purpose is preserved; a merger is also possible within the framework of the legal requirements. The foundation has a non-profit character, is denominationally neutral, does not pursue commercial or self-help purposes, and does not strive for profit.
