To promote and encourage a high level of professionalism, competence, and ethical behavior in the management of identity and personal data collection, data protection and privacy, international mobility and visa policy, biometric data collection, and similar issues related to identity management and international access and border control systems, and to collect personal identification data, including biometric data, from its individual members, ensure secure storage and handling, and issue identity documents for its individual members.
