Utilization of the electrical energy contributed by the Canton of Grisons and the municipalities of Grisons for optimal supply within the canton, the best possible utilization of energy not sold within the canton, procurement of the balancing energy necessary for supply within the canton, and preparation of the necessary measures for the economically advantageous exercise of the right of repurchase of hydroelectric power plants. To pursue these partly public, partly private purposes, the Canton of Grisons, the Elektrizitäts-Gesellschaft Laufenburg AG (EGL), and the Kraftwerke Brusio AG (KWB) concluded a partnership agreement on June 26, 1978, with the ratio between the individual, individually designated participants provided for in Article 3 of the Articles of Association, adapted to and balanced for the various purposes. The company aims to maintain these relationships based on law and trust whenever possible.
