The purpose of the foundation is to provide Christian aid and promote the well-being of needy and underprivileged people in Switzerland and abroad, to promote missionary activities (consisting of social aid, medical aid and the proclamation of the Christian faith) in Switzerland and abroad, and to promote Christian community building in Switzerland and abroad. The foundation pursues this purpose through direct financial or other material support for those directly affected, through support for missionaries and their employees, through contributions and assistance of a social and medical nature for the needy, and through financial or other material support for organizations in Switzerland and abroad that pursue the same or similar purposes. The foundation can also transfer the fulfillment of its purpose to other organizations, foundations, institutes and aid organizations in Switzerland and abroad, subject to the provision of the necessary funds.
