The foundation aims to promote the common good in the following areas: - animal welfare in spiritual, cultural, ethical and material terms; - dealing with the weaker members of society in the sense of a holistic humanity. The foundation pursues no other purpose than the aforementioned non-profit purpose; it does not strive for profit and fulfills its non-profit purpose itself. The foundation is entitled to fulfill its foundation purpose and its activities in Switzerland and abroad, as well as through a company or another legal entity, in accordance with the relevant legal provisions, in Switzerland and abroad, in which the foundation is directly or indirectly involved. The foundation purpose shall be realized in particular through the following measures: 1. Supporting animal welfare and the protection of the weaker members of society, which consists in giving animals and the weaker members of society a legally secure position as fellow creatures in law and reality; 2. Taking over the actual costs of animal sanctuaries and similar institutions that are committed to the idea of animal welfare, in this context providing and caring for animals in a species-appropriate and animal-friendly manner; 3. Public relations work in the form of events and media work in the sense of spreading animal welfare and a new 'humanity' that takes into account humans, animals and nature equally; 4. Conveying values in dealing with animals and the weaker members of society, especially to future generations. To fulfill the foundation purpose, the foundation is entitled to: 1. Employ personnel, acquire and sell properties and other assets in Switzerland and abroad, enter into company participations, manage and carry out all activities that are suitable for achieving the foundation purpose; 2. Accept donations and contributions; 3. Take over the management of other foundations in Switzerland and abroad. The foundation can also provide financial or material resources to other non-profit organizations, institutions and foundations or a suitable public authority in Switzerland and abroad, if these bodies use the resources to promote measures in accordance with paragraph 2. The promotion can include both one-time contributions and recurring support, e.g. in the context of longer-term programs. The foundation has a non-profit character and acts selflessly. It does not pursue any commercial purposes. The foundation may not favor any legal or natural person through expenses that are foreign to the purpose of the foundation or through disproportionately high support, contributions or remuneration. The beneficiaries of the foundation do not have a legal claim to the foundation's services based on this foundation statute.
