The foundation aims to: a) support family members (in particular direct descendants) of Dr. Urs Wickihalder (resident at Geigenmühle, 8173 Neerach), including himself, as well as other relatives (including those connected to the family through marriage, adoption or registered partnership) in cases of need, illness, disability, old age and similar circumstances, particularly by covering care costs and medical treatment and therapy costs. The foundation may take out insurance policies to prevent potential hardship; b) cover the costs of education, training, equipment and similar expenses for family members (in particular direct descendants) of Dr. Urs Wickihalder and other relatives. The foundation may also provide contributions to these individuals to start an independent professional activity or to establish a business or practice. Furthermore, donations may also be made for similar purposes as mentioned in lit. a and lit. b.
